The
transgression of the kingdoms has its origins in innocence,
the boy re-interprets the world making it fit, as an
act of heroism. The primitive man who painted in the
caves did so with an invocation to the power. I paint
looking for that original state of the creation. To
leave them float is to alow their world to be playful,
make it immediate to the stroke of the brush that makes
it be born.
A picture is a question. The spectator responds
to it or no. This is the game. Like eroticism, the seduction
that spurs the imagination to go further, to go deeper,
to touch the extraordinary. |
